Eventually he was chosen for a minor role on the Aaron Spelling series Malibu Shores. Watson had guest spots in several television series such as Baywatch and Sister, Sister. Watson was one of four children of Karen, a paralegal, and Michael Watson, an attorney. That’s what made us a little bit different of an Aaron Spelling show – one, we were a family show, and two, there was always this goofy nature and feel-good fun you got when watching.Michael Barrett Watson (born Ap) is an American actor known for his roles of Matt Camden on 7th Heaven, Brian Davis in What About Brian, Todd Deepler in Samantha Who? and Lachlan Murdoch in The Loudest Voice. She knew she could trust us enough to write something slightly over the top and know that we would make it work. Were there times when you’d read a script and think, “What the … “?Ī.(Series creator) Brenda Hampton could write things like that, but she gave us the liberty to tone it down, make it funny, make it serious. There have been episodes that were a little over the top. So that’s what the writers do to you if you leave the show – make you look bad? She ran off, got married, had a baby, got divorced? And didn’t she abandon her baby?Ī.She’s not quite divorced they’re just separated. I’m confused about Jessica Biel’s character, Mary. So many people either loved it or hated it. A few years back, it seemed like there were always speeches coming out of Ruthie’s mouth that I couldn’t imagine a kid of her age actually saying.Ī.Yeah, Ruthie was always this wise-beyond-her-years girl who came out with things that 40-year-olds don’t ever talk about. Something you never want your dad to see you in, or anyone else in the house, for that matter. There was only one time I ever had to wear very little clothing – it was a long time ago, when Adam LaVorgna (Robbie) was on the show, and it was really hot in the house so I was wearing these tiny tiny shorts and this little bra top around. I’m surprised they didn’t have George’s shirt off more than they did.Ī.But it’s a family show. In one of our last scenes, me and George (Stults, who plays Lucy’s husband, Kevin), we nailed heads so hard. But literally, you’re just trying not to bang noses. Everyone thinks these stage kisses are so great. Was there any guy you wanted to make out with more than once?Ī.Honestly, it was always so awkward. Some of us were boy-crazy – Lucy included, who made out with any guy who ever came on the show. I’ve always admired how the show combined wholesome family values with sex and soap-opera twists.Ī.It’s a family show, but none of us were perfect. And this year we had Oreos and Campbell’s soup. Until this year, we’ve never had product placement ever. I read something about product placement in “Everwood,” so I assume this is a WB thing.Ī.Yeah. What’s up with “7th Heaven’s” recent fixation with Oreos?Ī.You know, honestly I think the Oreo thing came from the Oreo company wanting to be a part of our show. I want more, and I was in it! I am not satisfied. You don’t want it to end because there’s so much you still want to know. It’s “7th Heaven,” so it’s definitely a feel-good ending. Will there be some kind of big explosion? Will some of the characters actually be going to heaven?Ī.(Laughs) No. We all love our show so much – we’re just not quite ready to give it up yet. Nobody’s really talked to us any further. What’s the latest?Ī.I don’t know anything! I think it’s not quite dead, let’s just put it that way. We keep hearing that “7th Heaven” might come back to the CW network this fall. about tonight’s series finale, her castmates (including Jessica Biel, who’ll be maid of honor in her wedding next year), make-out scenes and WB product placement.
After all, she played her on 10 seasons of “7th Heaven.” Mitchell, 25 – who sounds just as perky as her character – talked to us from L.A. But now she has a career (she followed dad Eric into the ministry), an adorable baby (with one or more on the way) and a stay-at-home husband who looks like an underwear model.īeverley Mitchell is going to miss Lucy. Back in the day, Lucy Camden was as boy-crazy as a girl can be.
